Microsoft "Work At Home" Media Program

Under the Microsoft Campus Agreement with certain restrictions, faculty and staff of the University of Florida can use at home the Microsoft software products listed below.

  • Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Desktop Operating System Upgrade
  • Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 for Windows
  • Microsoft Office 2008 for Macintosh

The Software is made available to you because the University of Florida has purchased license coverage for the Software through its Microsoft Campus Agreement. You do not own the license or the CDs, rather you are authorized to use the Software and associated media pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Microsoft Campus Agreement.

To participate in this agreement, you must acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions listed:

  • You will be required to remove the Software from your home machine when your employment by the University of Florida ends.
  • You will be required to remove the Software from your home machine should the University end its agreement with Microsoft. The current agreement renews every three years. Should this license agreement expire we will post a notification on this web page.
  • You must be a University of Florida employee. (A university employee is any person who receives a pay check from the university.)
  • You must read and abide by the license agreement(s) associated with this Software when you install the software.
  • No technical support is provided by Microsoft or the University of Florida in association with my work-at-home use.
  • The minimum specifications to run the Software are listed at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ and http://www.microsoft.com/office.
  • You are entitled to only one copy of the software for work at home use.
  • You will remove the Software from your home machine immediately upon the earlier of (a) expiration of the licensed period specified above or (b) the end of my employment by the University of Florida.
